We're seeking a Senior Contaminated Land Consultant ready to take on varied and rewarding work. In this role, you'll combine field and office expertise to deliver high-quality investigations, mentor others, and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes within a supportive and respected consultancy team

Essential Qualifications & Skills
·Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
·5-10 years' experience in contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
·Strong knowledge of the Contaminated Sites Act 2003, ASC NEPM, and relevant legislation/guidelines.
·Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical reports and assessments.
·Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
·Commitment to health, safety, and best practice standards

Duties & Responsibilities
·Plan and coordinate contaminated land and groundwater field programs.
·Lead soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, including drilling supervision and monitoring well installation.
·Deliver data gap assessments, site investigations, and remediation strategies to a high technical standard.
·Prepare and review technical reports in line with client and regulatory requirements.
·Support proposal preparation and provide project management assistance.
·Mentor junior staff and contribute to building technical capability within the team.
·Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, value-adding outcomes.
·Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
