Titan are partnering alongside a renowned global leader in operational technology, control systems, and engineering services to find a Senior Control Systems Engineer.

The role:

As the Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be solving complex challenges in collaboration with passionate individuals across diverse projects. An essential requirement for this position is that the candidate has experience utilising Yokogawa systems, with a strong preference for candidates who also have a background in the mining industry.

Your duties will include:

• Participate in various projects, demonstrating your proficiency in Control and Instrumentation specifically within Yokogawa systems.
• Visit diverse locations for commissioning, personally observing the execution of solutions you've designed, and acquiring invaluable practical insights.
• Offer extensive assistance in instrumentation, advanced design, programming, and hardware implementation specifically tailored for Yokogawa systems.
• Formulate visionary suggestions that address current challenges while also laying the foundation for solutions that stand the test of time.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications - A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 8+ years' experience and a Control Systems Engineer.
• 2+ years' experience with Yokogawa Systems - This includes commissioning experience using Yokogawa.
• Must have full working rights in Australia - this position does not provide sponsorship.

About you

• Demonstrated capability to excel in multidisciplinary project teams throughout different project phases, including working collaboration with fellow engineers.
• Experience working within the mining industry would be highly desirable.
• Ability to offer guidance, demonstrate leadership, and impart specialised knowledge while mentoring junior Engineers.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities, skilled in interpreting technical documentation and composing comprehensive reports.
