Our client is actively seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join their team. In this position, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems across diverse projects.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in control system engineering projects, encompassing tasks such as specification development, PLC/SCADA code implementation, testing, and commissioning while adhering to both client and Australian Standards.
- Conduct on-site implementation, testing, and commissioning of Control System works as needed.
- Apply knowledge of relevant engineering legislation and standards to project assignments.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute actively to a cohesive team working towards achieving client objectives.
Key Criteria:
- Motivated team player with strong communication and prioritisation skills.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Industry experience in Controls (PLC, DCS, RTU), SCADA systems, and communication systems.
- Proficient in design and specification writing.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric and Rockwell PLC platforms.
- Desirable experience with CitectSCADA and Wonderware HMI systems.
- Valued exposure to Western Australia's Iron Ore Industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Aspirations for career advancement in a global consultancy.
