As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work multiple mine sites, working on live production plants.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems within the overarching project framework.
- Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- Be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
More about you
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix PLC and CitectSCADA
- Strong technical knowledge in heavy industrial control systems
- Hands on detailed programming and technical troubleshooting in heavy industrial control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Mining experience preferred
