About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Controller to join a leading EPCM client of ours. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the Project Controls Manager and Project Manager over Rail and Infrastructure scopes of work. You will be responsible for all cost control activities, including daily management of project cost forecasting, budget control, reporting, change management, and resource allocation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Controller to join a leading EPCM client of ours. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the Project Controls Manager and Project Manager over Rail and Infrastructure scopes of work. You will be responsible for all cost control activities, including daily management of project cost forecasting, budget control, reporting, change management, and resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Controls Manager and Project Manager to manage and forecast project costs.
- Prepare and manage the project budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and objectives.
- Generate weekly dashboards and comprehensive weekly and monthly cost and progress reports for clients.
- Develop and maintain cost budget and forecast reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the control of package costs in a portfolio project setting.
- Support change management processes and develop manning plans.
Key Criteria:
- Experience in a EPCM environment
- Major Project experience preferably BHP Projects
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Proven track record in preparing and delivering detailed cost and progress reports.
- Strong background in cost control from a portfolio-type project setting.
- Familiarity with change management and the development of manning plans.
