Senior Electrical Design Engineer
About the Role:
An exciting and engaging opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a background in mining. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional looking to advance their career through working on a variety of exciting projects within the mining sector.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise for electrical design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Develop and design electrical systems for mineral process plants and bulk material handling conveyor lines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, schematics, and drawings.
About You:
• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience successfully within design focused project teams in a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of sustaining capital-style engineering work for mine sites.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple design projects within the mining sector.
