As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will work closely with the core workshare team on various projects, including MOC scopes and small design projects. Your role will involve reviewing design deliverables, including 3D models, and supporting the Minor Works Team in delivering projects across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple project scopes of varying size and complexity.
- Identify issues and develop solutions quickly, supporting vendor and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure the technical integrity of design deliverables, including 3D models and CAD builds, meeting specific requirements.
- Assist the MWT in understanding project scopes, preparing CTRs, and tracking project progress using various tools.
- Facilitate resolution of technical queries and attend lessons learned workshops.
- Track project hours weekly and manage deliverable uploads.
- Lead a small team to deliver high-quality design work on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
- Project lead experience and knowledge of relevant policies.
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Design or a related field.
- Skilled in AVEVA 3D modelling (PDMS, E3D), AutoCAD, Microstation, and lighting design software (DIALux, AGi32).
- Competent in MS Office Suite and PDF Exchange.
- Capable of creating electrical designs such as single-line diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and various schematics.
