About the Role
Opportunity available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy on an ongoing contract basis.
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, your role will be responsible for supporting the electrical team in designing and delivering projects across a range of industries, including mining, oil & gas, water.

Opportunity available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy on an ongoing contract basis.
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, your role will be responsible for supporting the electrical team in designing and delivering projects across a range of industries, including mining, oil & gas, water.
Responsibilities
- Preparing electrical designs, adhering to both Client specifications and Australian Standards
- Calculations including load flow, fault level, earthing, lightning risk assessments and maximum demand
- Review and approve electrical and instrumentation design drawings including SLDs, schematics, termination diagrams, loop diagrams
- Producing deliverables such as specifications, studies, scopes of work, procurement packages, dossiers
- Project management activities including project planning, deliverable progress reporting
- Assist with construction and commissioning activities, including occasional site visits
More about you
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- RPEQ (or working towards)
- Previous multidisciplined-team experience
- Previous experience working on mining / minerals processing, oil & gas or water treatment projects
- An understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
