Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Perth-based mining and resources team. This is an urgent requirement due to a strong pipeline of recently awarded work, with immediate involvement across brownfields mining projects and study phases for major Tier 1 operators.
This role offers exposure to complex electrical design scopes across sustaining capital, expansions, and feasibility studies within a highly respected global engineering consultancy environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in electrical design within mining and resources
- Strong background in brownfields mining projects
- Proven experience delivering studies, scoping, and detailed design
- HV/LV power systems design experience
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and mining specifications
- Experience working on BHP projects and standards highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver electrical design across brownfields mining and minerals processing projects
- Prepare and review electrical design documentation for studies and execution phases
- Develop single line diagrams, load lists, equipment specifications, and layouts
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Support junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews
- Ensure designs comply with client standards, Australian Standards, and safety requirements
- Work closely with other disciplines to deliver integrated engineering solutions
