Senior / Specialist Electrical Engineer - Global Asset Integrity & Power Systems
This opportunity offers the chance to join a global resources organisation in a senior corporate electrical engineering role supporting operations across Australia, the Americas, and Africa. You will provide specialist technical expertise focused on developing enterprise electrical standards, power system modelling, and improving electrical asset integrity across multiple international operations.

Working within a global engineering team, you will play a key role influencing site engineering and operational teams, improving reliability outcomes, and supporting major capital initiatives. This role suits an experienced senior or specialist electrical engineer who enjoys technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and working across diverse operations in a highly autonomous environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering with relevant professional accreditation
• Extensive experience as a Senior or Specialist Electrical Engineer within mining or heavy industry
• Strong experience developing and implementing electrical standards and specifications
• Proven capability in power system / power network modelling and review
• Experience supporting electrical systems reliability, maintenance, and operational performance
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across global teams
• Demonstrated understanding of electrical safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple time zones in a remote environment

Desirable Skills
• Experience within mining operations, particularly gold or mineral processing environments
• Combination of owner/operator and engineering consultancy experience
• Exposure to Asset Integrity Management frameworks and programs
• Experience with maintenance and work management systems (SAP desirable)
• Experience developing lifecycle cost models or sustaining capital plans

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide electrical engineering standards and technical specifications
• Perform and review power system modelling to support global operations
• Provide technical advice on electrical system maintenance and operational performance
• Support implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability
• Conduct safety and asset integrity audits aligned with enterprise standards
• Monitor electrical performance metrics and analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Identify and manage key electrical risks, supporting sites with mitigation strategies and reporting requirements
• Support electrical engineering and maintenance teams through technical mentoring and best-practice guidance
• Develop and implement an enterprise electrical obsolescence management framework
• Conduct lifecycle cost assessments and support development of 5-year sustaining capital budgets
• Collaborate with global engineering, asset integrity, and operational stakeholders to embed standards across sites
• Contribute technical expertise to major capital and multi-million-dollar project initiatives
