We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering services provider. Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- Strong background in the mining/resources sector, ideally with sustaining capital project experience
- Prior experience in an engineering services environment
- Ability to independently undertake project and technical analyses, and report on results
- Demonstrated expertise in both LV and HV design, with exposure to vendor packages
- Proficiency in producing and reviewing engineering documentation technical drawings, datasheets, specifications, scopes of work, and material requisitions
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and industry best practice compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior engineers
- Knowledge of commissioning and site support activities
- Familiarity with procurement processes, schedules, and vendor liaison
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide electrical design expertise across a range of sustaining capital projects
- Conduct and review technical analyses and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Produce, review, and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, datasheets, and scopes of work
- Support procurement through preparation of vendor packages and clarifications
- Lead and participate in design reviews, providing guidance to junior engineers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe and efficient solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise across project lifecycle, from concept design to commissioning support
