Senior Electrical Engineer
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy supporting sustaining capital mining projects.. Based in the Adelaide CBD office, you'll be part of a collaborative and well-established electrical engineering team delivering high-quality design and project solutions across major clients within the mining and resources sector.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Executive, you'll play a key role in project delivery from design through to commissioning, while providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to a culture of reliability and operational excellence.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 7+ years' professional experience, ideally within mining, heavy industry, or large infrastructure projects
• Background in an engineering consultancy, EPCM, or project management environment is essential
• Proven ability to lead design, delivery, and commissioning across brownfields or sustaining capital projects
• Strong technical understanding of reliability, asset management, and operational integration
• Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver practical and compliant engineering solutions
Desirable Skills
• Familiarity with HV/LV design and compliance to Australian standards
• Exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration across mechanical, civil, and process teams
• Understanding of electrical systems for materials handling, minerals processing, and utilities infrastructure
• Site-based commissioning or construction support experience
Duties & Responsibilities
• Deliver detailed electrical engineering designs for sustaining capital projects
• Review and develop technical documentation across all project stages
• Lead project scopes through design, approval, and commissioning phases
• Support and mentor junior engineers within the team
• Conduct site visits as required for design validation, commissioning, or client meetings
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices and project delivery
