Role Overview

Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in brownfield oil & gas or similar infrastructure sectors
- Strong proficiency in electrical design (equipment sizing, HV/MCCs, etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder communication and team leadership skills
- Familiarity with Australian Standards, HAZOPs, and hazardous areas
- TUV Functional Safety and/or Hazardous Area certification (highly regarded)
Responsibilities
- Deliver and review detailed electrical design work in line with standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review their project deliverables
- Lead or participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and safety workshops
- Contribute to project estimates, scopes, and schedules
- Oversee quality and sustainability of engineering solutions
- Coordinate with other disciplines and manage change processes
