Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer
South West WA (Greenbushes Region) - 5:2 Roster

Take the lead in high voltage engineering on one of Australia's most significant mining operations. Our client is a key global supplier in the clean energy supply chain, operating one of the largest high-grade lithium ore bodies in the world. This is a pivotal site-based role, ideal for a senior electrical engineer with strong HV experience and a passion for reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Australian-recognised).
• 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering, ideally in HV environments.
• Strong technical capability in HV transmission and distribution networks.
• Familiarity with PLC, Citect SCADA, and field instrumentation.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian electrical standards and WHS legislation.
• Proven leadership in regulated environments and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (desirable).
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Licences & Competencies
• Current WA C Class Driver's Licence.
• HV Switching Operators Certificate.
• First Aid, LVR/CPR, and S26 training (or ability to obtain).
• Electrical Nominee Certification (desirable).
• Eligibility to be appointed as Electrical Supervisor under WA WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide leadership in the operation, testing, and maintenance of HV electrical infrastructure.
• Fulfil statutory obligations as Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Nominee.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies for HV assets.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and legislative requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
• Collaborate with planning teams to optimise reliability and performance.
• Manage contractor performance and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead asset performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide coverage for the Infrastructure Electrical Superintendent during absences.
