Role Opportunity

Step into a key leadership role as Senior Health & Safety Advisor, where your expertise will shape a strong safety culture across multiple sites. You'll provide guidance, assurance, and mentoring to teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety systems while driving practical, positive outcomes. This role calls for a hands-on leader who can influence behaviours at all levels and champion a safe, low-risk work environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
·Diploma in Occupational / Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
·Minimum 8-10 years' HSE experience in mining, construction, or operations.
·Strong leadership and contractor management experience.
·Proven ability to influence behaviours and drive a positive safety culture.
·Skilled in risk management, incident investigation, and compliance monitoring.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
·Effective time management and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.

Duties & Responsibilities
·Provide health & safety leadership, guidance, and mentoring to site teams and contractors.
·Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and health & safety management systems.
·Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, implementing practical control measures.
·Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
·Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to staff and contractors.
·Promote positive safety culture through engagement, coaching, and recognition programs.
·Maintain accurate health & safety records, reporting on performance and compliance.
·Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety systems and behaviours.
