Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer seeking an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to the mining industry? As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and components for mining equipment. Your creative problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong technical knowledge will be essential in designing robust solutions that optimize performance and enhance safety in challenging mining environments.
About the role
โข CBD based role
โข 12- month initial contract
โข Mining and minerals processing based projects
โข Review,check and submission of drawing as provided
โข Participate in design reveiws to comply with standards and procedures
Requirements
โข Mining/Materials handling experience crucial
โข Significant experience in 3D modelling preferably in MicroStation/Open plant
โข Prior experience working with EPCM Greenfields or Brownfields environment, preferably in a mining based environment
โข Strong communication skills in multi discipline teams
โข A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements
