Senior Mechanical Designer
• $80 - $ 95 p/hr incl super
• 6-month initial contract
• Strong pipeline forecasted
About the Role:
Seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical designer with a background in Mining and minerals processing. Role will be focused around local Gold brownfield project with ongoing work
Duties:
• Work Closely with the team to deliver Mechanical and piping design deliverables.
• Ability to assist across disciplines when required.
• Liaising daily with Project managers, Designers and engineers.
• Managing your own time to ensure design deliverables are met on schedule.
• Ensuring industry standards and compliance are met
• Making recommendations that will result in better solutions for the client.
Key Criteria:
• Extensive experience in Mining based projects
• Previous experience in Gold based projects highly favourable
• Must be Fluent in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Plant3d and inventor
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work autonomously and Manage time effectively to meet design deliverable deadlines.
