Role Opportunity
Oversee and deliver practical short and medium term mine plans, ensuring production and cost targets are met, reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Current unencumbered WA C Class Driver's Licence and valid National Police Check
• Experience in mechanised underground hard-rock mining, including production and mine planning
• Skilled in mine design (lateral/vertical development) and planning software, preferably Deswik
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
• Proactive, flexible, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently or within a team
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver practical mine plans using Deswik, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Optimise mine designs and costs, exploring efficiency and alternative mining methods
• Review economic evaluations to meet production and financial targets
• Mentor and support developing planning engineers
