Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior piping designer to join our team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining, with a focus on creating innovative and cost-effective solution for our clients.
About the role
• Create and review piping design drawings and models.
• Develop 3D models of piping systems for various Greenfield and Brownfield mining projects.
• Work with project managers to ensure that designs meet project requirements and are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Collaborate with other designers and engineers to identify potential design issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on design progress and any issues or concerns.
• Sustaining capital project with several year project life cycle
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications.
• 8 + years of piping design experience within the mining Industry
• Highly proficient in bentley software suites
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Mining experience only
