As a Senior/ Lead Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to step up to a Lead Engineer position, and work across multiple PLCs across various industries, including water, mining, industrial and oil & gas.
Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems based on project requirements.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems within the overarching project framework.
- Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- If required, be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
More about you
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- RPEQ highly regarded
- Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Scheider, etc
- Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
