Senior Mechanical Designer (Perth, CBD)

About the Role:

Seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer with a strong background in Mining for a 12-month contract working with various Tier 1 mining clients

Duties:

• Produce Mechanical Design deliverables and work towards successful project outcomes.
• Communicate with project stakeholders, engineers and client to ensure the success of project deliverables
• Reviews and checks, design models and drawings prepared by assigned designers for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality and satisfactory completion.
• Ensure all design deliverables are met to ensure success project outcomes.

Key Criteria:

• Highly proficient with MicroStation 2D/3D
• Proficiency with OBD Highly favourable
• Extensive previous experience in Mining sector, previous EPC / EPCM experience highly favourable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
