Senior Structural Designer (Perth, CBD)
• $90 - $ 100 p/hr incl super
• Bulk material handling
• Sustaining capital based role
About the Role:
Great opportunity to join our clients sustaining capital team working across multiple projects within the structural discipline
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer with extensive background in Material handling from a Mining and or Industrial background.
Duties:
• Modelling of various structures with the portfolio of Sustaining capital projects
• Ensuring that compliance and regulatory standards are adhered to and fit for purpose.
• Working autonomously or collaboratively as required, you will be responsible for effective time management and achieving project deliverables as per schedule.
• Liasing daily with project managers, designers, engineers and clients to help drive successful outcomes.
Key Criteria:
• Extensive experience in Structural design / drafting within the mining sector preferably in materials handling / minerals processing.
• Highly experienced utilising MicroStation 2D and 3D.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work productively within a project environment and tight timeframes.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
