Role Opportunity

Deliver structural steel and concrete designs for brownfields/greenfields projects across the mining industry. Work closely with project engineers and senior stakeholders. Mentor junior team members and support project milestones.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Some of the skills you will have to be successful for the Senior Structural Engineer role include:

• 7+ years mining or heavy industry experience
• Proficient in MicroStation 2D/3D
• Experience with BHP or Rio Tinto systems
• Familiarity with OpenBuildings Design (OBD)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Designer, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Develop structural steel and concrete designs
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers
• Ensure compliance with design codes and standards
• Conduct occasional site visits when required
