Role Opportunity
Join a leading multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery consultancy as a Senior Track Engineer in Perth. This 12-month contract offers the chance to lead design and delivery across a Tier 1 mining rail network in the Pilbara, driving innovative rail infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in engineering design (Proficient in 12d, Power Railtrack/OpenRail, as well as MicroStation and AutoCAD).
• Proven expertise in designing horizontal and vertical alignments for diverse rail networks.
• Skilled in turnout design with a strong understanding of kinematic envelope development.
• Strong knowledge of track infrastructure, fastening types, and upkeep procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Background with leading engineering consultancies or rail-focused organisations.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end track design for conceptual, preliminary, and detailed phases.
• Develop ballasted and non-ballasted track structures, alignments, profiles, and drainage solutions.
• Review and validate engineering designs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Prepare design briefs, specifications, and supporting technical documentation.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client engagement.
