About the Role:
Great opportunity to join our clients Structural team in a leadership role supporting one of WA's largest Iron ore projects based in the Pilbara.
We are seeking an experienced Structural Checker with extensive background in steel and concrete mineral processing plants.
Duties:
- Structural and concrete checking related to both the wet and dry process plant scopes of work.
- Ensuring that compliance and regulatory standards are adhered to and fit for purpose.
- Working autonomously or collaboratively as required, you will be responsible for effective time management and achieving project deliverables as per schedule.
- Liasing daily with project managers, designers, engineers and clients to help drive successful project outcomes.
Key Criteria:
- 15 years of structural design/checking experience preferably from a mining / mineral processing background, iron ore experience desirable.
- Highly experienced utilising MicroStation.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work productively within a project environment and tight timeframes.
- Previous experience and willingness to mentor is desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
