Underground Mining Surveyor

Location:Sydney, NSW (DIDO West NSW)
Roster: 8/6 DIDO or Residential West NSW

Role Opportunity
Support the Technical Services team by executing underground survey work including pickups, mark-ups, laser installations and EOM surveys. Collaborate closely with Geology and Production teams while ensuring data integrity and procedural accuracy.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Tertiary qualification or Advanced Diploma in Surveying
• Experience in underground hard rock mining
• Skilled with modern survey instruments and systems
• Deswik software experience highly desirable
• Strong communication and team alignment

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct underground set-outs, pickups, monitoring
• Install lasers and complete end-of-month surveys
• Document and develop survey procedures
• Assist open pit survey team when needed
• Promote safety and continuous improvement initiatives
