Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a CAD administration role
- Super-user knowledge of Bentley products: MicroStation, OBD, OpenPlant
- Familiarity with Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Inventor
- Advanced experience with iConstruct and Navisworks
- Strong coding skills in VBA, Python, or similar
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with BHP, Rio Tinto, or Fortescue systems and procedures is highly desirable
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer and maintain CAD systems to ensure efficient and accurate design outputs
- Collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary design team to support mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, and civil projects
- Develop and maintain scripts, macros, and tools to improve design workflows using VBA, Python, etc.
- Support the integration of Bentley and Autodesk platforms across project teams
- Manage CAD standards, templates, and libraries to ensure compliance with project and client requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting CAD issues and provide technical guidance to team members
