Role opportunity:We are seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to join a well-known EPCM client in Australia. This role offers the chance to work on a major capital project within an EPCM environment. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in project planning and scheduling, supporting the project team across planning, cost, and schedule functions. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major development with a high-performing team.Benefits: Perth based location with monthly site visits 12-month contract with opportunity to extend Opportunity to work with a global EPCM company Essential qualifications and skills: 510+ years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling within large-scale mining or heavy industrial capital projectsDemonstrated involvement in high-value project scopes, ideally in greenfield mine developments or remote infrastructure programsSolid background operating within EPCM delivery frameworks, coordinating across multiple engineering and construction disciplinesAdvanced proficiency in planning and scheduling tools including Primavera P6, MS Project, and integrated project reporting systemsExperienced in developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis, progress tracking, and forecastingStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear, data-driven schedule insights to support decision-makingDuties and responsibilities:Develop execution schedules from first principles using scope of work (SOW), general arrangements (GA drawings), equipment lists, and contracting strategies under the guidance of lead plannerWork independently to establish schedule foundations, ensuring alignment with project delivery strategy and major execution milestonesCollaborate cross-functionally with construction, procurement, engineering, and contracts teams to refine and validate schedule activities and logicApply knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) to structure the schedule in alignment with construction-driven planning methodologiesSupport schedule integration and reporting, ensuring activities are logically sequenced, resource-loaded where required, and aligned with project controls processesAbout our ClientA leader in engineering, construction, and project management, delivering large-scale infrastructure and resource projects across a global footprint.About Titan RecruitmentTitan Recruitment is an Australian-owned engineering and technology recruitment consultancy with over 25 years of industry insights.
