Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering / Drafting
- 35 years of experience in SMP design drafting within the mining, mineral processing, or resources sector
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting software, including: Solidworks & PDM, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, Navisworks
- Strong understanding of mechanical, piping, and structural systems
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards, document control, and HSEQ requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D drawings for structural, mechanical, and piping works
- Prepare as-built drawings and supporting documentation for brownfields and sustaining capital projects
- Liaise with engineers, site teams, and stakeholders to resolve design issues and technical queries
- Support project delivery by providing timely, high-quality drafting outputs in line with project schedules
