Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 4 8 years' experience in civil engineering design within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency with civil engineering design software
- Sound knowledge of design standards and industry practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs, reports, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the design and coordination of projects such as roads, drainage, bulk earthworks, pavements, utilities, and site development.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met.
- Undertake design checks, verification, and assist with design reviews.
- Support project managers with planning, delivery, and client communication.
- Apply knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Main Roads WA, and local authority requirements.
