About the Role:

• Civil Project Engineer with owner side/EPCM experience required to work on a key iron ore project.
• Develop and implement project controls, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Write reports and scopes of work, and develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor progress and identify potential problems with respect to budgets, schedules, and engineering standards.
• Provide estimating scheduling, and reporting.
• Provide stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships through conducting work in a professional and productive manner.
• Initial 12 month contract with good chance of extension
• Perth CBD based. Competitive hourly rate offered

Key Criteria:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in project management and engineering.
• Experience within Mining, and engineering design project environments.
• Experience in developing all components of a Civil Earthworks Tender including managing, evaluating, awarding and on-site works.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and MS Project.
