About the Role:

• Major iron ore project in the Pilbara region of WA
• Civil Project Engineer opportunity to focus on a range on the execution of earthworks, roads and associated civil infrastructure.
• Provide engineering and technical support at site and ensure all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Obtain appropriate approvals and document calculations, specifications, and variations.
• Prepare documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
• Initial 12 month contract (hourly rate) with strong chance of extension
• 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth
• Well regarded engineering and project delivery consultant

Key Criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in Civil Engineering and previous site experience within mining projects.
• Bulk earthworks and roads project experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly, effectively and positively in a demanding environment.
• Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes.
