This role will focus on control system design, configuration, and site commissioning, supporting projects across fixed plant operations.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering
- Proven experience in the mining sector, preferably with tier 1 projects
- Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider platforms
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Ability to develop functional specifications, I/O lists, and control narratives
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project delivery
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control system solutions for mining projects
- Program and configure PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to meet client specifications
- Conduct site-based commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration
- Support ongoing maintenance and optimisation of existing control systems
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and site safety requirements
