Control Systems Engineer
Role Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our client's Perth-based team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Lead Control Systems Engineer, this position will provide technical investigation and resolution of control systems issues across critical bulk handling operations, including train loading, dumping, stacking, screening, crushing, reclaiming, and ship loading.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Electrical/Control Systems Engineering or equivalent qualifications in Electrical/Instrumentation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in control systems within large-scale bulk materials handling or similar operations.
- Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Schneider PLCs, and Citect SCADA systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader engineering team
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide timely technical support to resolve control system issues raised by support teams, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate root causes of control system downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Deliver minor control system improvement projects (PLC/SCADA) to enhance plant performance.
- Support operations using Allen Bradley PLCs, Schneider PLCs, GE PLCs, and Citect SCADA systems.
- Uphold the client's health, safety, and environmental standards, contributing to field leadership activities.
