Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across complex project scopes
• Develop and maintain accurate cost reports, budgets, and forecasting tools in line with project standards
• Coordinate implementation of cost control systems, reporting standards, and performance monitoring
• Gather, classify, and analyze cost data to support budgeting, estimating, and decision-making processes
• Identify and communicate cost trends or variances, providing recommendations to management
• Prepare cost studies using historical data, statistical methods, and cost/quantity comparisons

- 6 Month contract
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8-10 years' relevant experience, or 12-14 years without a degree
- Proven experience in project cost engineering, including control, reporting, and analysis on complex projects
- Strong understanding of cost management processes across engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present cost data clearly to management and clients
- Must have full working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship
