You will support the Group Manager in managing the sustaining capital group and fill in when the Group Manager is on leave. Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or Construction Management.
- Over 15 years of proven experience in project and team leadership roles.
- Extensive experience in contract management and commercial project delivery.
- Demonstrated success as a Project Manager or Group Lead within an EPCM environment.
- In-depth knowledge of WA mining operations, with a strong focus on sustaining capital projects.
- Significant experience delivering WA Iron Ore projects across all phases.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of projects managed by others.
- Participate and contribute to the business development efforts of the sustaining capital group including preparation of proposals and estimating costs for delivering projects.
- Review engineering progress and planning activities
- Monitor productivity across engineering, design, and other key project functions to assess execution efficiency
- Provide clear leadership and strategic direction in resource allocation to meet contractual obligations
