Role Opportunity
Experienced Design Drafter with Solid Edge experience to join a Western Australian owned and operated engineering services company. They deliver end-to-end design, manufacture, and installation of bulk materials handling equipment and storage structures.

In this role, you'll be embedded in the Tendering and Quoting team, supporting bulk storage solutions across a wide range of commodities, including gold, copper, rare earths, and water treatment projects.

You'll play a key part in the front-end of projects, working closely with engineers, estimators, and project teams to create 3D models, general arrangements, and detailed drawings that help produce accurate tenders and competitive bids.

  Qualifications & Skills:
  
• Proven experience as a Design Drafter within resources, minerals processing, or industrial projects
• Strong conceptual design capability, particularly for tender-stage work
• Strong experience using Solid Edge for 3D modelling
• Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-presented GA drawings
• Experience within bulk materials handling, storage systems, mining, or heavy industrial environments (highly regarded)
• Ability to work efficiently under tender deadlines and manage competing priorities
• High attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Proactive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  
  Duties & Responsibilities:
• Produce 3D models and General Arrangement (GA) drawings to support tender submissions and quotations
• Develop conceptual and detailed layouts for bulk storage systems and associated infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with engineers, estimators, and project stakeholders during the tender phase
• Assist with design development, constructability considerations, and value engineering where required
• Ensure drawings align with project requirements, standards, and client specifications
• Support multiple tenders concurrently across varying scopes and commodities
