About the role:

• Well regarded multi discipline engineering consultant servicing the mining and resources sector
• Focus on LV and HV detailed engineering design and calculations
• Working on mainly iron ore projects
• Experience and capable of reading/developing Single Line Diagrams, Schematics and Terminations Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Switchrooms
• Utilising DigSilent Powerfactory
• Team size: 7 members, close knit and dynamic team
• Able to complete engineering reports
• Perth CBD based with wfh options provided
• Initial 12 month contract (hourly rate) with strong chance of extension

Key Criteria:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• 5 to 10 years + ' experience in the mining sector. Previous engineering consultant experience required
• Mining and materials handling experience required
• Experience utilising DigSilent Powerfactory beneficial
• Strong design calculations and design engineering background within LV/HV mining infrastructure
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Strong understanding of industry guidelines
• Excellent team skills
