Our client is seeking an individual with a technical background in instrumentation, controls and network/hardware design who is looking to transition into a FIFO project engineering role. In this position, you will oversee and coordinate engineering activities across various disciplines to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritise HSE considerations and incorporate OHSE requirements into design and procurement.
- Foster strong client relationships and promptly address project issues.
- Ensure compliance with WPMP and contractual obligations, implementing effective change control.
- Monitor and control project costs to prevent overruns.
- Facilitate transparent communication and reporting.
- Define design team objectives and manage inter-discipline interfaces.
- Assist in procurement to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Key Criteria:
- Hold a recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications.
- Bring previous technical experience across instrumentation, controls and network/hardware design.
- Australian mining or mineral processing background is required.
- Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
