Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience as a Civil Designer in the mining and resources sector (10+ years preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in 12D and related civil design tools.
- Strong knowledge of mine site infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, and associated civil works.
- Previous iron ore project experience ideal
- Proven ability to lead design teams and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate civil design packages across a portfolio of mining and processing projects.
- Develop and review detailed designs and documentation using 12D and associated software.
- Deliver design solutions for bulk earthworks, haul/access roads, drainage, services, and mine infrastructure.
- Work closely with project engineers, discipline leads, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to design team members, fostering capability and efficiency.
- Manage priorities, schedules, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
