The Project Director leads the Underground Ventilation and Cooling Project, driving strategic alignment and delivering business objectives. Responsible for both study and execution phases, this role directs resources, budgets, and governance to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective project outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the Study Team through capital stage gates to secure funding approvals and ensure all deliverables support safe and timely decision-making.
- Oversee Execution Teams and resources to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the Project Execution Plan and Scope of Work, while making strategic governance decisions, managing budgets, compliance, and risk, and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Interface with consultants and internal teams to ensure cohesive execution, integrated planning, and performance delivery against contractual and organisational objectives.
Key Skills
- Proven leadership in managing multi - discipline teams and complex project portfolios
- Experience delivering complex underground projects
- Preferred UG ventilation and piping system experience
- Gold or Copper underground project experiences
- Values-driven leader building a transparent culture
- Strong financial acumen and governance
- Highly effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
