Client side Project Engineer - Structural to manage the delivery of fixed storage remediation projects.
Benefits:
- Initial 12 month contract with good chance of extension
- Typically 40hrs/week billable
- Typical working hours 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
- Site trips to various locations around Wheatbelt required. Typically around 1-2 days per fortnight
- Site trips billed on hours worked, up to 12hr days maximum
- Perth CBD head office location
Qualifications & Skills: - Engineering degree qualified, ideally with a focus on structural engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in sustaining capital projects or steel/concrete repair work
- Owner/Consultant experience preferred
- Good understanding of engineering workflows, including technical queries (TQs), design reviews, and consultant coordination
- Skilled in producing technical documentation such as reports and scopes of work
- Proficient in using MS Project for scheduling, budgeting, and project management controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of fixed storage remediation packages & sustaining capital projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Oversee the technical development of projects, including coordination of design reviews, management of consultants, and resolution of technical queries (TQs).
- Prepare and review key project documentation such as scopes of work, technical reports, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and control project performance using MS Project, ensuring effective schedule and cost management.
- Ensure all works are executed safely and to the required quality standards, in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute to clear, timely communication across project phases.
