Role opportunity:
We are seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to join a well-known EPCM client in Australia. This role offers the chance to work on a landmark billion-dollar infrastructure project within an EPCM environment. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in project planning and scheduling, supporting the project team across planning, cost, and schedule functions. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major development with a high-performing team.

Essential qualifications and skills;
  • 510+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling on major infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to high-value project packages ($800 million+), ideally within civil or airport developments
  • Strong background in EPCM environments with multi-disciplinary project coordination
  • Proficient in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant scheduling/reporting systems
  • Skilled in developing, maintaining, and tracking project schedules, including critical path and progress reporting
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and present schedule insights clearly

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules across all phases, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables
  • Support project controls by integrating cost and schedule data to enable accurate forecasting and performance tracking
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts, providing recommendations to mitigate issues proactively
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate input and regular progress updates
  • Generate and present schedule reports, dashboards, and look-aheads to stakeholders and project leadership
  • Contribute to planning reviews and ensure adherence to EPCM planning standards, systems, and procedures
