Qualifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering; Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience as a Civil Designer within the infrastructure or urban development sectors.
- Strong proficiency in 12D, with the ability to manage complex civil design models.
- Experience guiding and mentoring other Civil Designers
- Strong understanding of relevant Australian design standards and practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver civil design work across roads, bridges, rail, and urban development projects.
- Produce detailed designs, models, and documentation using 12D and associated software.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management for less experienced Designers and Technicians.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and clients to ensure design solutions meet scope, budget, and quality requirements.
- Contribute to design reviews, quality assurance, and innovation in design practices.
- Support bid preparation and project planning as required.
