About the Role:

• Senior Civil Engineer possessing strong technical design engineering experience to work on a key Oil & Gas expansion project. The role will be working across feasibility stage as well as execution in sustaining capital and growth projects.
• Be responsible for the technical delivery of all civil related elements relating including access roads for long linear infrastructure, earthwork pads for new carbon capture drill centres, tank storage farms as well as managing interfaces with existing underground services.
• Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures;
• Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;
• Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.
• Technical supervision of junior engineers;
• Cross disciplinary coordination
• Liaise with the client & various project stakeholders
• Perth CBD based
• Initial 12 month contract with strong chance of extension. Competitive hourly rate offered.
  
  Key Criteria
• Formal Civil Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
• Previous consultant engineering background
• Resources industry background beneficial
• Strong with bulk earthworks design, drainage and heavy pavement design
• Good understanding of budgets and schedules
• Excellent stakeholder skills and the ability to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong reporting and project documentation skills
• Able to guide Junior Engineers and liaise with different teams
• Excellent safety attitude and knowledge of industry guidelines
