Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil Engineering qualifications
- 8 years experience + across technical civil engineering roles.
- Strong experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage design engineering in a relevant industry, e.g, mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial.
- Engineering consultant background required
- Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Able top complete engineering and project documentation
- Excellent safety attitude
- Excellent team skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce civil engineering designs of mining and resources projects, including site infrastructure, bulk earthworks, access/haul roads, drainage systems and associated civil infrastructure
- Prepare and review engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports
- Provide design input across feasibility, concept, and detailed design phases
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Apply design standards, specifications, and quality assurance procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of team capability
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and design efficiency
