Role Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take on a key technical leadership role across a diverse range of projects within the mining and resources sector. You'll be instrumental in shaping project outcomes, providing technical advice, and driving engineering excellence across an expanding portfolio of work.

Duties and Responsibilities
The position will include but not be limited to:
Leading projects as a key technical engineer, delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions that meet client and project objectives.
Providing technical advice and mentorship to mechanical engineers while supporting the broader engineering team.
Delivering mechanical engineering design across materials handling, pumping, and piping systems - including conveying, material transfer, and hydraulic services.
Coordinating with other disciplines to produce efficient, consistent, and compliant design deliverables across all project stages, from concept through to commissioning.
Participating in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and ensuring Safety in Design principles are applied throughout all project phases.
Skills and Experience
Mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of six years' multidisciplinary engineering experience within the mining and resources sector.
You will bring strong design capability, with proven experience producing engineering calculations and design documentation, complemented by practical exposure to construction, commissioning, or operations within the bulk materials or minerals processing industries. DEM an advantage
Experience across a range of commodities - including gold, copper, lithium, and iron ore - will be highly regarded, as will a sound understanding of industry safety and environmental standards.
