We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to support our client's sustaining capital projects, primarily focused on iron ore mine site water systems and associated infrastructure This role will suit a technically strong Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in mine water infrastructure and hydraulic systems, who can provide practical, site-focused engineering solutions.
Benefits
- Perth based role
- 12-month ongoing contract
- Rate range $110.00 - $125.00 ph.
- Start early January
- Lead hydraulic and piping design for mine site water systems across sustaining capital and brownfield projects
- Perform fluid flow analysis and hydraulic modelling.
- Develop and review piping deliverables including P&IDs, layouts, isometrics, and specifications
- Deliver technically compliant designs aligned with Australian Standards and client requirements
- Interface directly with major mining clients including Rio Tinto, BHP, and FMG
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and design assurance across project teams.
- Bachelor Mechanical Engineering
- 5 -7+years' experience in the resources, mining, or infrastructure sectors
- Must have Fluid Flow and / or WaterGEMS experiences.
- Experience in Hydraulic design and specification of mine site water systems
- Experience working across RIO, BHP or FMG water projects
