Role Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site SMP Project Engineer. The position is hands on in our client's site-based construction team. Although this is advertised as a Senior role, we encourage experienced and proactive Project Engineers with at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience to apply.Strong bias towards mechanical and structural (civil) disciplines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering discipline with relevant qualifications.
• 5+ years of client side experience working across mining mineral processing projects.
• Experience with Conveyors, hoisting, headframe structures and shaft will be favourable.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies
• Excellent project planning, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring construction compliance with IFC drawing and design intent
• Manage technical queries and field changes.
• Overseeing contractor performance and quality
• Developing and approving construction methodologies.
• Providing technical resolution of design / construction issues
• Reviewing and approving shop drawing, schedule and QA documentation.
• Proactive stakeholder management and communication to foster collaborative relationships
