Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia. Charted Engineer Registration accrediation beneficial
- Senior/Lead level experience required within a consultancy environment
- Strong experience with mining plant structures design and non process infrastructure
- Strong stakeholder management skills & able to complete project delivery tasks
- Previous experience leading small teams. Also considered will be a strong senior with management aspirations
- Previous site experience
- Strong understanding of industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the structural engineering design and delivery of mining and non process infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical guidance, review, and mentoring to junior engineers and drafting staff.
- Collaborate closely with the civil discipline to achieve integrated project outcomes.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure technical quality and project success.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to building the group's reputation in the mining sector.
